Very, very nice beautiful new Danish cuisine with a lightness to it by chef and Owner Frederik Hvidt. They only offer the fair prices set menu of 5 delicious courses. Only open for dinner.

Romantic Danish/French style restaurant in beautiful settings of the Christianshavn part of town. Open for lunch too serving traditional Danish dishes like fried plaice, marinated herrings and more sophisticated ones. They also have a set menu for lunch.

Inexpensive food and wine when comparing price and value. I have dined here many times since Thomas in 1998 opened the restaurant in the ground floor of the Hotel Frydendal. His antipasti are fantastic! Cool and very light interior. Book well in advance for weekends.

Excellent French restaurant with very delectable high-quality food and an amazing wine list. Wines by glass at the bar counter. I have come here for years and the food has (almost) never disappointed me.

Reasonable Priced Restaurants and cafés
Here they will serve you a very decent meal for a reasonable price (reasonable, not cheap. Nothing in Copenhagen is cheap).
Ricemarket
The Asian bistro of the Kiin Kiin owners offering very high quality Thai and Asian inspired food from 11 am in the morning till 10 pm. Great selection of wines by the glass and amongst the second best Thai places in CPH. Sometimes the service can be a little slow.

One of the very best and real Italian places for pizza in Copenhagen. The pizzas are cooked in a wood stove, and you can eat it in the shop at the small desks by the widows.
